- This site is the gateway to most of the Australian ornithological sites on the Internet. It includes links to other bird clubs, ornithological tour operators and special interest groups such as those concerned with raptors and pelagic birds. It has a list of all Australian bird species to save all that typing when compiling your own checklist or database. (The more ambitious may prefer to record their sightings on a checklist of birds of the world utilizing the taxonomy of Sibley and Monroe.)
